You'll receive this notification when your email message has attachments that make it too large to send: The message is held in your Drafts folder (not your Outbox) where you can either remove attachments to reduce the file size or delete the message.
• Select the Search Current Mailbox field in your Outlook inbox. • You can also press Ctrl-E. • Make sure the Search ribbon is visible and expanded. • Select Search Tools in the Search ribbon's Options section. • Select Advanced Find from the menu that has appeared. • Make sure Messages is selected under Look.
• To search more folders than the inbox (or whichever folder is currently open in Outlook's main window): • Select Browse. • Make sure all the folders you want to search are checked under Folders. • Typically, check the root folder for the account or PST files you want to include in your search and make sure Search subfolders is checked as well.
• Unfortunately, Outlook will not let you search across accounts and PST files. • Open the More Choices tab. • Make sure greater than is selected under Size (kilobytes).
• Enter something like 5000 (~5 MB) under Size (kilobytes). • You can choose a bigger or smaller number, of course, to have more or fewer results returned. • Select Find Now. • To sort the search results by size: • Select By Date in the search result headers. • Select Size from the menu that has appeared.
