Dave Sobel alwayssung their praises as "the lathe that won WW2" being that there were lots of those crankingaway in folks' garages and basements, making parts for arms manufacturers.I don't think "evil eye" is the situation so much as it's just not an appropriate lathe to discuss on what is at least attempting to be a more professional forum. Don't really understand the evil eye that the poor Atlas lathe gets here. Do these use steel gears or pot metal? My old atlaslathe had crossfeed too. Stunning condition with Power Cross Feed. High-Swing whilst maintaining screwcutting. Imperial.Ĭontroller, long cross slide, clutch, etc. More detailed photos, information and sale price.Īll my lathes are original Nottingham Myfords.Īs the Super 7 lathes so good for 2000rpm. Standard, for long or standard bed Myford lathes.Īt any time on 01225 812155 or 07753 610420 to discuss or reserve Myford ML7 complete motor bracket with counter shaft.

Matching green cabinet available if required. All original, from the Nottingham factory, not refurbished, as with all my lathes. A good amount of oil has given this lathe superb protection. Myford Super 7 lathe with power cross feed. Excellent example, looks to have some but not much use, all original, and not often you find nice examples in the grey. Myford Super 7B Longbed lathe with gearbox, power cross feed. All original, from the Nottingham factory, not refurbished, as with all these lathes. Several, little used, top end, Myford Super 7Bs lathe with gearbox & power cross feed just added below. Please call ASAP if interested, as once it's sold it's unlikley there will be another. The headstock block has a built in shaft to acceopt and idler gear to enable the screwcutting gear train to continue to work. I have never come across another, an incredibly rare machine, and at the risk of repeating myself, these risers blocks are made and assembled by the original Nottingham factory. A must for any Myford lover who would like a 6.5" clear swing above the bed, so you can turn 13" diameter items above the bed, or more in the gap. VERY RARE, High Swing (Collectors look up) Myford ML7 lathe with original Myford Nottingham high swing raiser blocks for Spindle, tailstock & top slide. Perfect if you want something slightly smaller than an ML7. Excellent value for money, for a top quality mid size lathe. Good condition lathe, that does not seem to have had a lot of use. A super lathe for someone with a little bit less space. Also has a custom fitted Digital Read Out (DRO), and the desired long cross slide.
